Tell us about your organization’s mission. - Our organization is dedicated to providing high-quality office spaces and business services that foster growth and success for local businesses. We believe in creating a thriving business environment where entrepreneurs and companies can flourish, contributing to the economic vitality of the South Shore and Norwell community.

What is the impact on the Local Community? - By managing the Norwell Executive Center, we offer flexible and affordable office solutions that cater to businesses of all sizes, from startups to established enterprises. Our facilities provide a professional setting that helps businesses project a polished image, attract clients, and enhance productivity. With 60 offices rented by professionals, we support a diverse range of businesses, enabling them to operate efficiently and effectively in a conducive environment. As new owners, we look forward to joining the Norwell Chamber and getting more involved in the local community. I have served on local Chamber Boards on the South Shore for the last 25 years and intend to continue my community work and get to know more of the outside businesses now that we own and operate this business. Additionally, my business partner Michael has maintained an office on site for over 10 years, which provides a great advantage as he knows many of the professionals whose offices are currently with us. We will also be looking to use the space to invite others in for networking and collaboration, creating a dedicated space for such activities. Community is important to us, and we aim to foster a collaborative and supportive environment for all local businesses.

With a long-standing dedicated administrative team, we take the time to understand the specific needs of each tenant, offering customized office solutions and exceptional customer service to them and their clients. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including high-speed internet, modern conference rooms, and a welcoming reception area, ensuring that our tenants have everything they need to succeed. Additionally, we maintain a professional and collaborative atmosphere that supports the growth and success of local businesses. As new owners, we very much look forward to personally getting to know the specific needs of each tenant.

What led you to decide to bank with South Shore Bank? - Our decision to bank with South Shore Bank was an easy one. I have had a long-standing professional relationship with Heather Wilson, Commercial Banking Relationship Manager. Because of this relationship, I did not consider any other banks. Heather has been instrumental in helping me develop real estate and build my business over the last 15 years.

How does South Shore Bank deliver for the needs of your business? - Heather and the Bank were instrumental in expediting our closing at the final stages. We were completing a 1031 Exchange which has its specific processes, and she went above and beyond to ensure an end of month closing. 

How did the solutions South Shore Bank provided have a business impact and, in turn, impact the community? -  Extending necessary financing so that we could purchase this business combined with access to cash management resources to aid us in daily operations have had a direct impact. The positive impact on our business translates to a broader benefit for the community. This fosters economic growth in the area, encourages job creation, and promotes a vibrant business community. Additionally, our plans to use the space for networking and collaboration events further strengthen community ties and create opportunities for local businesses to connect and grow.

What are future aspirations for your business and how can South Shore Bank help you reach them? - We will be looking to renovate the Norwell Executive Center and would be seeking the best means to fund that project. Additionally, I would like to grow the commercial side of my real estate development business and anticipate SSB to play a role in my growth.
